First of all.. WOW. We were lucky enough to have Jake as our Celebrant & MC. We knew he was going to be amazing but nothing could prepare us for how magical he made our day. I’m still looking back a week later and wondering ‘is this person even real?!’ It’s like he had known us our whole lives. Our guests all thought he was a family member or a life long friend. We had a brief for the ceremony of relaxing, upbeat, good vibes and he nailed all of them… we had been to a few weddings where the ceremony is quite boring and mundane and he made it so much fun, but so meaningful too. All of our guests said it was the best wedding ceremony they had ever been to. After we had picked our venue and date, we booked Jake the very next day and we are so glad we did. He exceeded all expectations. He called us a week before and gave me some amazing advice and settled my nerves completely, which I needed. As I arrived he greeted me and completely calmed me, his presence just makes you feel so comfortable! He did the same with my husband. Not only that, he also went around to all the speakers of the night to give them tips! Jake completely made our wedding, I don’t think there was one person who didn’t mention how incredible he was. Not only is he so professional and so amazing at what he does, he is the kindest person, so real, and the best guiding light for the day.. he doesn’t treat this like it’s his job, he really made us feel like our day was the only thing that mattered to him.
Jake, I truely believe our day was so incredible and ran so smoothly because of you. You being there is something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The only negative thing I have to say is that there is only 1 of you!

Qualities we were looking for in a celebrant were confident, organised and charasmatic and Jake delivered this in spades. All of the information required in the lead up to the wedding was well paced - in fact, the actual getting married part was the simplest part of the day! Jake was great at helping the groom out before the ceremony (those fiddly boutonnières!), and kept the humour when our toddler had main character energy during the ceremony. And at our reception, I completely let go of all the lists in my head and just let Jake take the reins with MCing our special night and we had the absolute best time. Thanks Jake!

What an incredible celebrant and all round best guy Jake is!! I don’t think we can even put into words how incredible he was. I have had the privilege to watch Jake marry some of my best friends and I knew we had to have him for our wedding! He is seriously the best at what he does!

A Celebrant can make or break a wedding, when tasked by my soon to be wife to find someone ‘good’, I knew she meant not mediocre good, she meant outstanding next level ‘good’. & JAKE, did not disappoint. From the first interaction it was easy, fluid process and on the day his animation and story telling made our Ceremony come to life. On top of all the comments we received about our wedding, our guests could not stop talking about our ceremony. Jake made both myself and wife feel at ease with our wedding jitters, knew when to move out the photos and most of all knew what we wanted and customised our ceremony to suit us as a family. We can not thank him enough.

Thank you again so much for everything; I cannot express how grateful Brendan and I both are that we had you with us on our wedding day. From the moment you walked into our room you were like a ray of sunshine in human form. You completely put us both at ease and guided us through the entire process (because we did need a wee bit of hand holding). From fixing Brendan’s tie and sorting his pocket square (with the tools you had on hand, thank you cheese knife) to preparing my bouquet for me so we were ready to roll. The ceremony itself was amazing and flowed beautifully; I loved how you incorporated all the personalisation about us into the ceremony and even though we chose not to write our own vows it was just magical. I remember laughing a lot and my cheeks hurting afterward from smiling so much; a big part of that was thanks to you. Everything about the elopement was perfect. Brendan and I are blessed that we had a dream team (you and Liz) with us on the day…you two have a great energy together. I definitely hope more couples are as lucky as us and get to share their special day with you.

My wife and I just got married by Jake and we loved it! Jake was so professional and nice but the best part was he had such a good demeanour and made everyone so comfortable! There were times that we were a bit overwhelmed (as couples do) and Jake just kept us grounded and in the moment. It was great. From the moment we saw Jake at my sister-in-laws wedding we knew we wanted him to officiate ours. Throughout the whole planning process Jake was so helpful, friendly and professional in helping us get ready. On the day, officiating our wedding Jake felt like a family member, the way he prepared our ceremony was like he was there through it and it brought us back to those early days of dating. Jake made us feel so comfortable, and gave us tips on how to relax and enjoy the day and overall he just brought such a fun energy. Jake was so warm and friendly to all of our friends and family and they even thought he was family too. We also had Jake as our MC and the reception continued to be just as amazing, everything ran so smoothly and he gave us the exact vibe we wanted. The ceremony was everything we had hoped for. All of our guests commented after how amazing Jake was, how comfortable they all felt, and how ‘us’ the ceremony was. Jake made the process smooth an easy. He was professional at every point and made us feel so comfortable during the ceremony. He listened to our wishes and delivered 110% on the day. What a weekend it was... we spent 9mths planning a stunning wedding with all our closest friends and family out in the scenic rim and were so excited to have Jake as both our celebrant and MC. Everything leading up to our day seemed to be going wrong due to covid, supply issues, distribution stock levels at all time lows etc. We got a little rain throughout the week but that's good luck! The day of our wedding came and it was full steam ahead. Sitting in the makeup chair I got the call our venue was flooded in and our day was cancelled.
Never fear! Jake was here! Our bridal party swung into action calling all our vendors to relocate to where I, the bride, stayed the night prior. Jake arrived with energy and enthusiasm lifting all our spirits. Our ceremony went off without a hitch. We even noticed the finest detail of our wedding certificate location updated! He thought of everything whilst we were in a state of shock and the day went in a blur. Words cannot describe how grateful we are for everything he did to make our plan b (that was planned in mere hours) run even better than our original plans... after our ceremony Jake helped ferry our guests through the rain to the local pub and ensure everyone was seated with a hot meal and drink in hand. What could've been a disaster turned out to be a dream wedding that we'll never forget. After such an eventful day we were shattered and needed to call the night off earlier than planned. I still have the image in my mind of Jake soaked from the rain as he ran through the streets looking for our coach service to take our guests back to their accommodation. Jake you went above and beyond, taking the weight off our shoulders and we would highly recommend him to anyone planning their big day. If we had our day over again we wouldn't change a thing!
